Questions You Should Ask
| How many hours of One-on-One counseling are included. |
| One-on-One counseling is the key ingredient to success. You may be surprised at how many do not offer this or if they do it is very little. At Manor Centers we offer One-on-One five days a week. |
| How many people does the facility treat at one time. |
| People go to rehab for a reason - they need help. If they have to deal with too many different personalities it can cause unwanted disruptions. That is why our facilities treat no more than ten people at any one time. |
| Our the facilities located outside city limits. |
| The reason this is important is because if the facility is in the city, there are temptations to leave or have their friends bring stuff to them. This is why our facilities are located in non-urban areas, away from temptations. |
| How old are the counselors. |
| The counselor should be no more than seven years older and definitely not younger. Who one unburdens problems to needs to be in tune with the client and be able to build a trust relationship. That is why we use age as part of our "Set Up of Success" process. |
| What is their success rate. |
| National average for alcohol is 49% even less for drugs. Our programs are designed to work and we are proud of our 87% success rate. This does not included those addicted to meth. We have more intense programs for meth addicts but still the success rate is only 51%. Meth is highly addictive. The key is to catch and treat it early just like cancer. |
| Are there separate programs for drugs and alcohol . |
| Addictions are not all the same. If someone is addicted to drugs they need to attend a DRUG REHAB program, and those addicted to alcohol need to go into an ALCOHOL TREATMENT program. |
| Are there mental and physical evaluations included. |
| You may be surprised at the answer. Most facilities do not offer any evaluation, or if they do it is at additional cost. Manor Treatment Centers believes mental condition and physical condition go hand in hand in treating the whole person, and the evaluations are at no additional cost. |
| Do they offer grants. |
| You will find that 90% do not. There are grants out there; all a company has to do is take that extra step to obtain them for clients. We have done just that and can use them to help you pay for treatment. Even if you have insurance, grants can be used to help with deductibles and co-pays. |
| How many "court ordered" patients are in attendance. |
| We have found that some court ordered patients tend to be disruptive because they feel they are only there because they HAVE to be, and not there to get help. That is why we have certain designated facilities specializing in court ordered only. |
| What is their staff to patient ratio |
| National average is 6 to 1. We learned long ago that addicts need a structured supervised environment. That is why we have a 3 to 1 average at most of our facilities. |
