What to Expect
Arrival
By Car
If a patients drives to the facility, parking is provided in all
locations except our New York facility. Keys must be turned in till
graduation. Driving privileges are extended to those that have
successfully completed the 28 day intensive program and are
attending the extended education phase.
By Plane
After debarking patients will be met in the baggage claim area where
they will find a staff member holding a sign with the patient’s
first name and last name initial. From there the facility shuttle
will take them to the center for check-in.
Facility Check-in
Once at the facility inventory will be taken of personal property
(see what to bring list)
All medications will be given to the duty nurse and will be dispensed according to schedule times. (Only approved prescribed by a physician medications will be dispensed.)
Orientations
Administrative paperwork, room assignment, grounds tour and staff
introductions. Within the first hour of arrival each patient will
meet with their assigned counselor for introduction and open
evaluation. Patients will be introduced to the other patients
during the next scheduled group sit-in.
